SOLAR QUOTES
Every 24 hours, enough sunlight touches the Earth to provide the energy for the entire planet for 24 years.
– Martha Maeda
The use of solar energy has not been open up because the oil industry does not own the sun
– Ralph Nader

We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using Nature’s inexhaustible sources of energy — sun, wind and tide…. I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.
– Thomas Edison

Scientists will eventually stop flailing around with solar power and focus their efforts on harnessing the only truly unlimited source of energy on the planet: stupidity. I predict that in the future, scientists will learn how to convert stupidity into clean fuel.
– Scott Adams

Solar power is the last energy resource that isn’t owned yet–nobody taxes the sun yet.
– Bonnie Raitt

All energy is ultimately derived for the sun and harvesting it directly through solar power seems to be the best way to transition to renewable energy.
– Peter Rive

It’s not that utilities oppose solar power, per se–many are investing in large-scale solar projects, but many utilities are opposed to customers generating their own electricity and selling it to the grid. Think of APS like a grocer who doesn’t want home gardeners selling vegetables in the town square–except this grocer enjoys a government-sanctioned monopoly.
– Jeremy Deaton

Solar power is a big idea, whose time has come. And, like the space program, solar is an idea that can shape our nation in significant and positive ways. In the coming months, in the coming years, we will face critical decisions on how to address climate change, reduce our dependence on foreign energy, and boost our economic competitiveness. The beauty of solar power is that it offers an elegant solution to all three of these challenges. Imagine what it would be like if every time that it rained it rained oil, big black drops falling from the sky. Don’t you think that we would find some way to run around with a big bucket and collect all of that energy that was falling from the sky? I know this sounds like an absurd picture, but the reality is that what we have outside today is something very comparable to that. Literally, we have useful energy pouring out of the sky, and nowhere does it rain sunshine with greater intensity and consistency than in the American southwest.
– GABRIELLE GIFFORDS

Another big advantage of solar power is that the power source is free. While oil must be drilled, and coal and uranium must be mined, the source for solar power is simply sunlight. And unlike fossil fuels, the costs of solar energy never rise.
– JIM OLLHOFF

Solar panels are coming down dramatically in cost per watt. And as a result of that, the total amount of solar energy is growing, not linearly, but exponentially. It’s doubling every 2 years and has been for 20 years. And again, it’s a very smooth curve. There’s all these arguments, subsidies and political battles and companies going bankrupt, they’re raising billions of dollars, but behind all that chaos is this very smooth progression.
– RAY KURZWEIL

Solar, as you know, hasn’t caught on because, I mean, a solar panel takes 32 years — it’s a 32-year payback. Who wants a 32-year payback? The fact is, the technology is not there yet.
– DONALD TRUMP

Solar power is inflation proof.
– GERRY PAGEAU

The holy grail … is being able to store solar energy for use when the sun isn’t out.
– JULIE FRANZ

THE THIRD SECTOR
Three investment sectors that are like moon rockets, with a lot more to come…
Cryptos, Cannabis and ….
The first is cryptocurrencies — ripe with gains that defy the imagination, but also rife in unknowns that could wipe you out.

We’ve seen hundreds of new coins launched in the last few months, but many potential investors have been left on the sidelines scratching their heads. What’s the best way to buy coins? Which coins represent the best opportunities? How do you sort through all the noise?

A huge opportunity? Absolutely! But there’s lots to learn before you invest, and it’s critical to find the right expert.

The second is cannabis. Here, too, the profit potential is great. But like cryptocurrencies, the sector is riddled with uncertainties: looming legal battles. There’s hundreds of new entrants jumping into a crowded field.

“Two good places to make big money,” we said, “but no place to bet the farm.”

That’s when our topic shifted to the third hot sector — junior mining companies.
And even better is junior solar energy companies.
