Startup Chile

10 things I learned to accelerate my robotic project Osoji incubated in just 6 months by Startup Chile

NETWORKING
Just ask Camila, Paula or Rocio to connect you to key big companies for feedback about your product, your model or your best niche. Even the obvious feedback can provide serendipity and insights.

SCALE BIG
Think big how to scale fast and affordable, before somebody else will.

SEED CAPITAL
40K is a lot if you invest wisely.
The best investment is to find out how to create an oiled-sales-machine.
Keep testing different niches, products, channels, and messages.

CO-WORK
There are pros and cons for Monjitas in downtown. However, the connections are priceless.

PITCH
Miroculus trained over 100 pitches before launching 1MM.
With every pitch, you can learn from your pals to build your unique angle.
The pitch is way more that just sharing your vision. Think about it.

WEEKLY
You will recieve one email per week with plenty of news and opportunities from SUP.
This is better than a paid PR firm, directly to your inbox.
Read it carefully. Act on it.

MONTHLY
Pitstop meetings can be boring like h…, unless you play full out.
Share your challenges and be open to real feedback at every monthly meeting.

SHARE
Go outside Startup Chile community, share your lessons learned with other groups.
Take advantage of speech opportunities at universities.
They will be tomorrow´s entrepreneurs, that might required your advice.

INSIDERS
Meet and connect with the Startup Chile Team.
They´ve seen it all. They know how to be wise with time and budget.
They know how to shortcut your mistakes and expand your results.

SALES
Above all, this is the most important metric.
Get your first beta client.
Then, you can build a great team, create outstanding products and exit rich.
So if you retire, then you can startup all over again.

All the best in your endeavor.
And remember, you might have the piece of the puzzle to somebody else.
Or they could have yours too.
Seize the day.
